Welcome to Fast Track Move. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and moving services. By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking a move with Fast Track Move, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, customers, and any person who accesses or uses our website or services in any capacity.

Services Description

Fast Track Move provides residential and commercial moving services in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), including but not limited to:

  • Local and long-distance residential moves
  • Commercial and office relocations
  • Packing, unpacking, and assembly services
  • Storage solutions and specialty item handling
  • Last-minute and same-day moving assistance

The specific scope of services for each move will be outlined in your individual quote and booking confirmation. Any additional services requested on the day of the move may be subject to additional charges.

Booking & Cancellation

Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation (via email or text message) from Fast Track Move. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

Cancellation Policy

  • 48+ hours notice: Full refund of any deposit paid
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% of the deposit may be retained as a cancellation fee
  • Less than 24 hours notice: The full deposit may be forfeited
  • No-show: If our crew arrives and you are not present or decline service, the full deposit is non-refundable

Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours before the move date will be accommodated at no additional charge, subject to availability. Requests made within 48 hours may incur a rescheduling fee.

Pricing & Payment

Quotes & Estimates

All quotes provided by Fast Track Move are estimates based on the information you supply. Final pricing may vary if the actual scope of work differs from the original description (e.g., additional items, difficult access, stairs, or long carries not disclosed at the time of booking).

Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking
  • The remaining balance is due upon completion of the move
  • We accept cash, debit, and credit card payments
  • All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes

Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for circumstances not included in the original quote, including but not limited to: flights of stairs, long carry distances, elevator wait times, oversized or specialty items, packing materials used on-site, and extended travel distances beyond the quoted area.

Liability & Insurance

Standard Coverage

Fast Track Move is fully licensed and insured. Our standard liability coverage provides protection for your belongings during transit. Coverage details will be outlined in your service agreement prior to the move.

Damage Claims

  • All damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of move completion
  • Claims must include photographic evidence and a description of the damage
  • We will assess each claim fairly and work to resolve it promptly
  • Pre-existing damage, items packed by the customer (owner-packed boxes), and items of extraordinary value not declared prior to the move may not be covered

Limitations

Fast Track Move is not liable for damage caused by inadequate packing by the customer, items that are inherently fragile or perishable, acts of nature (weather, natural disasters), or delays caused by traffic, road conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and efficient move, customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information about the move (inventory, access, parking, building rules)
  • Securing or removing items of extreme value (jewelry, cash, important documents, medications)
  • Ensuring safe and clear access to both pickup and delivery locations
  • Obtaining any required elevator bookings, parking permits, or building approvals
  • Being present (or having an authorized representative present) at both locations on the day of the move
  • Disclosing any hazardous materials, prohibited items, or special handling requirements

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage customers to first contact us directly so we can work toward a fair resolution. Our process is as follows:

  • Step 1: Contact our customer service team by phone or email to discuss the issue
  • Step 2: If the issue is not resolved within 14 business days, either party may request mediation through a mutually agreed-upon mediator
  • Step 3: If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute may be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with Ontario law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Changes to Terms

Fast Track Move reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
